Does the repair differ by iPad generation?
Yes — the iPad 8th and 9th generation use a separate non-laminated glass digitizer over the LCD, so the glass alone can be replaced, while the iPad 10th generation and Air/Pro use a fused laminated assembly. We confirm your generation first.
How long does it take?

Will Touch ID and my Apple Pencil still work after the screen is replaced?
